Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure that the Southeastern Professional School of the Arts Foundation presents tonight’s performance, LEAP. This program culminates with the talents of numerous artists, including special guest artists from the Ignited Dance Collective. We are proud to present a vast array of performances ranging from Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Character Techniques, and many more. We are so thankful to be surrounded by so many talented artists, but most of all thankful for your support of the Southeastern Professional School of the Arts Foundation. Your support is integral in our endeavor to promote the arts throughout the state of South Carolina.

Southeastern Professional School of the Arts Foundation (SPSA) is an empowerment organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality dance education to adults, seniors, to low to moderate income families, and at-risk youth in the State of South Carolina. In 2009, SPSA was established as a 501C3 nonprofit organization with the Internal Revenue Service based on the needs of its constituents.  In order to offer low to moderate income families, at-risk youth, and survivors in the State of South Carolina the highest quality of art instruction, SPSA partners with local art organizations to provide Scholarships, After School Introduction Programs, Group Therapy, Workshops, Seminars, and Annual Performances.  All programs are structured to 1) develop an appreciation of the Arts, 2) develop self-expression, 3) improve self-esteem and self-respect, 4) establish work ethic, 5) develop awareness of physical well-being and, 6) develop sensitivity and empathy.  SPSA acts as a facilitating organization for coordinating the availability of the Arts in South Carolina. Services and resources are offered FREE for all of our participants through corporate and individual funding.

If you are interested in learning more about the SPSA, please visit our SPSA booth in the front of the lobby. Thank you for helping us to achieve our goals and bring the arts to the greater Columbia community.

Please enjoy the show.

Sincerely,

Hillary Krieger-Toth

Executive Director

Southeastern Ballet School’s Story

Formerly known as Southeastern School of Ballet, we have rebranded as Southeastern Ballet School as we embark on an exciting new chapter. For 18 years, we have been dedicated to providing the highest quality of dance instruction while fostering a culturally diverse and inclusive community. Our commitment extends beyond dance—we strive to instill essential life skills such as perseverance, self-discipline, respect, and confidence in every student.

At Southeastern Ballet School, we offer training for dancers of all levels, from those who simply love to move to those pursuing professional careers. Our comprehensive curriculum includes Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Modern, Contemporary, Character, Stretch and Conditioning, and Pilates, ensuring a well-rounded education. With small class sizes and individualized evaluations, we provide the support and guidance necessary for each student to reach their full potential.

As we move forward, we are actively searching for a new home. This fundraiser directly supports that effort, with 100% of proceeds going to Southeastern Professional School of the Arts (SPSA) and the LEAP Campaign. Your generosity helps us continue our mission of providing exceptional dance education and making the arts accessible to all.
